Ryan Pevnick is an Associate Professor in the Department of Politics at New York University.
His current work is primarily in democratic theory, focusing – in particular – on questions related to the justification of representative democracy, as well as campaign finance reform. Much of his earlier work was on immigration, though he has written on a variety of other topics (including philanthropy, distributive justice, and civil liberties).
